This stream is designed for children who are preparing to enter SJK(C) or a Mandarin-medium learning environment. The programme introduces children to the learning style, language exposure and classroom routine commonly practised in Chinese primary schools.
Subjects and modules include:
- Mandarin writing, reading and speaking
- Iqra’ 1–6
- Islamic Studies, including Jawi skills and Islamic mannerism
- Arabic Language
- English Language
- Bahasa Malaysia
- Mathematics in Mandarin and English
- Science in Mandarin and English
- Art and Craft, including Chinese paper cutting and Chinese calligraphy
- Practical Life, including solat, self-cleanliness, classroom duty roster and daily responsibilities
- Physical Education
- Computer Appreciation
The aim of this stream is to build children’s confidence in Mandarin communication while strengthening their foundation in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics, Science and Islamic values.
