SUBJECTS AND MODULES

At Bayu Mewah, we provide a nurturing, balanced and inclusive early childhood education environment for Malaysian children. We believe that Malaysia is a multicultural country rich in language, values, traditions and culture. Therefore, our programmes are designed to help children develop academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually and physically in preparation for primary school and everyday life.

Bayu Mewah offers four main learning pathways to suit the needs, interests and future schooling direction of each child.

A) English and Mandarin Stream

This stream is designed for children who are preparing to enter SJK(C) or a Mandarin-medium learning environment. The programme introduces children to the learning style, language exposure and classroom routine commonly practised in Chinese primary schools.

The aim of this stream is to build children’s confidence in Mandarin communication while strengthening their foundation in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics, Science and Islamic values.

B) KAFA/TAFIZ Stream

This stream is designed for children who are preparing to enter SRA, KAFA, Tahfiz or Islamic-based primary school programmes. The learning environment supports children in building early Islamic knowledge, Quranic reading skills, good manners and school readiness.

The aim of this stream is to prepare children with a strong foundation in Islamic education while continuing to develop their language, numeracy, creativity and communication skills.

C) Integration Class

The Integration Class is a balanced programme suitable for children who require exposure to a variety of subjects, languages and activities in one integrated learning environment. This stream supports children’s overall development and prepares them for different types of primary school settings.

Islamic Studies, including Jawi skills and Islamic mannerism
Basic Arabic Language
English Language
Bahasa Malaysia
Mathematics in Bahasa Malaysia
Science in Bahasa Malaysia
Art and Craft

Physical Education
Computer Appreciation

The aim of this stream is to provide children with a well-rounded foundation through language learning, Islamic values, numeracy, science, creativity, music, movement and practical life skills.

D) Inclusive Education and Special Needs Support

Bayu Mewah also provides an inclusive learning environment for children with special educational needs. We believe that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and develop according to their own pace, ability and potential.

This programme is suitable for children who may require additional guidance, individual attention, structured routine or learning support in their daily activities and classroom learning.

Our special needs support focuses on:

  • Early observation of children’s learning and developmental needs
  • Basic progress monitoring
  • Individualised learning support based on the child’s ability
  • Speech, communication and social interaction development
  • Fine motor and gross motor activities
  • Behaviour guidance and classroom readiness
  • Practical life skills, including self-care, toilet training, eating routine and personal hygiene
  • Sensory play and hands-on learning activities
  • Integration with other children through suitable group activities
  • Development of independence, confidence and self-help skills
  • Collaboration with parents, teachers and relevant specialists when needed

Children under this programme may be placed in a suitable stream or integration class based on their readiness, learning needs and discussion with parents. The main aim is to help children become more independent, confident, socially prepared and ready for the next stage of learning.
